Hazeltree History

2011

Trafelet Delta Funds spins out Hazeltree as a treasury management solution helping hedge fund managers manage their counterparty exposure to protect assets, optimize fees, and mitigate risk.

2012-2015

Working with early adopter clients and counterparties to make Hazeltree’s product offering multi-client platform servicing multiple clients.

2016

Hazeltree hires full global management team and establishes first partnership with fund administrator, HedgeServ.

2017

Launch of Hazeltree LiquidityWeb™ with a network of Money Market partners (GSAM, BlackRock, Morgan Stanley, JP Morgan, Federated, and HSBC) to facilitate cash sweeps.

2018

Established BNY Mellon partnership to jointly offer cash and liquidity management solution to mutual clients. Established Northern Trust fund administrator partnership.

2019

Hazeltree acquires Enso Financial Analytics to expand portfolio finance product offerings. Hazeltree launches Private Markets solution to service private equity, real estate, and infrastructure funds. Hazeltree reaches 200 clients globally with $2T managed on the platform.

2021

Lionpoint Group and Hazeltree partner to bring together the best-in-class industry-specific treasury management technology with consulting and professional services expertise specifically designed for private capital market clients.

2022

As the UMR Phase 6 rules go into effect in September 2022, Hazeltree works with in-scope clients to help them ensure they will be regulation-ready.

2025

Technology veteran Lokesh Seth joins Hazeltree as CEO.

2025

Hazeltree acquires Siman Systems, expanding its treasury management platform to include margin replication.
