Industry Background and Skills

  • Familiarity with prime brokerage firms, including their operational, trading, and reporting needs, to effectively position technology solutions.
  • Excellent understanding of the hedge fund sectors; including the regulatory environment and legal frameworks associated with the industry.
  • Experience in the buy side industry along with financial technology sales experience.
  • A self-motivated individual who can demonstrate an ability to work in a demanding, fast-paced environment.
  • Demonstrable success in public market sales role with a network of referral sources and industry contacts.
  • A positive attitude and excellent interpersonal and communication skills. • Ability to be commercial, show initiative and to use common sense and intuition – derived from your professional experience. Treasury & Product

Expertise:

  • Develop a deep understanding of Hazeltree’s platform and the intricacies of treasury management in the investment management industry. • Ability to educate prospective clients on best practices and help them fully leverage our solution e.g. articulate and monetize ROI of Hazeltree’s Treasury Management products. Cross-Functional Collaboration: • Work closely with internal teams (implementations, product, sales, support, etc.) to advocate for client needs and contribute to continuous solution improvements.
  • Provide insights and feedback that directly shape the evolution of our platform and services. Qualifications

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field.

Experience:

  • 4 - 5 years of experience in solutions consulting, treasury management, prime brokerage or investment banking.
  • Experience working with hedge funds or other alternative investment firms.
  • Experience and understanding of the financial markets, specifically Buy Side experience is highly desirable.
  • Understand the applications of ISIN’s and their meaning for investment identification
