Implementation Project Manager
Location

New York, NY

This is a full-time hybrid role for an Implementation Project Manager at Hazeltree. As an Implementation Project Manager, you will be responsible for managing the day-to-day tasks associated with implementing Hazeltree's treasury and portfolio finance technology solutions for clients. This includes coordinating and communicating with clients, ensuring successful software implementation, and driving customer satisfaction. While the role is primarily located in the New York City Metropolitan Area, there is flexibility for some remote work.

Qualifications:
  • 4-5 years of experience in a client-facing role within the tech industry, with a focus on project management and consulting.
  • Technical proficiency to quickly grasp new concepts, build product knowledge, and translate requirements for product development.
  • Highly organized with strong multitasking abilities, capable of prioritizing competing projects and timelines effectively.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills for both internal and client-facing interactions, with the ability to convey technical information to diverse audiences.
  • Proven problem-solving skills with the ability to identify and address flawed processes and implement scalable solutions.
  • Experience developing cross-team processes and documentation with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Experience working with hedge funds and private equity firms is highly desirable.
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree preferred.
Responsibilities:
  • Serve as the primary point of contact and expert for clients during onboarding and implementation processes.
  • Act as a trusted advisor, providing technical and operational guidance to clients to maximize the impact of our products on their business.
  • Collaborate closely with Product Development, Engineering, and other internal teams to enhance product functionality for client onboarding and growth.
  • Manage client-facing communication across various organizational levels, including executives, project leads, and operational teams.
  • Lead the creation of detailed project plans and oversee partner meetings, client trainings, and in-person engagements.
  • Utilize strong project management capabilities to coordinate all aspects of the onboarding process, including data ingestion setup, workflow configuration, and ongoing support.
  • Demonstrate advanced knowledge of financial instruments (specifically cash and cash equivalents) and operational processes related to cash/treasury management and be proficient in understanding complex financial workflows related to treasury management.
  • Understanding of financial institutions and account types/structures (banks, prime brokers, custodians, ISDA counterparties, credit facilities, etc.); ability to oversee data connectivity requirements and work with data connectivity team to source client data.
  • Flexibility to travel as needed to support clients across different regions.

Project Manager

The Project Manager will join the Client Services team, working directly with key clients. You will be responsible for the end-to-end implementation of the system; you will work closely with the technology team to ensure that the clients’ needs are met whilst taking into consideration each client’s specific business requirements.

The Project Manager will be joining Hazeltree at a very exciting time for the organization - you will be playing a key part in helping Hazeltree to achieve our ambitious growth goals.

The ideal candidate should be highly motivated with good analytical and interpersonal skills. He/she should possess an in-depth understanding of financial products and be a quick thinker with exceptional organizational skills. He/she should also be articulate, organized, patient, thorough, and able to deal with a variety of people.

Key responsibilities will include:
  • Manage all aspects of the client onboarding process by following the Hazeltree implementation methodology, which includes understanding clients' current workflows and processes, capturing clients' requirements details, identifying product enhancements, and defining new procedures and workflows
  • Report progress and ensure the client is aware and up to speed on all project issues
  • Own the resolution of any client issues
  • Contribute to evolving the daily data validations and client report delivery processes.
  • Coordinate project resources internally and externally to ensure delivering projects on time and on budget
  • Monitor project budget and review project billing monthly
  • Assist clients with day-to-day post-implementation functions
Required Skills/Experience

Senior Solutions Engineer
Location

New York, NY

The ideal candidate for this role should have 3+ years of experience in supporting production applications.

The ideal candidate should be highly motivated, have technical and analytical skills, and have plenty of knowledge and experience in the Financial and Treasury Management industry. He/she should be a technical problem solver and a quick thinker with exceptional organizational skills. He/she should also be articulate, organized, patient, thorough, and able to deal with a variety of people, including client representatives and department leads.

Key responsibilities:
  • Daily health checks of environments, health monitoring
  • Communication with clients on timelines and ETA of task completions
  • Extract required information from these sources to make correct decisions about mapping accounts to different financial entities (PB/ISDA/Futures/etc.)
  • Deal with support issues via Zendesk
  • Maintaining knowledge base, transferring knowledge among team members
  • Issue troubleshooting with application
  • Communication with Development department
  • Submit bug reports from production environments
  • Establish the process of Dev team involvement with upgrades
  • Assist with the technical aspects of the implementation process, including:
    • Analyzing, manipulating, mapping, and loading data into SQL databases
    • Supporting other Solution Engineers in efficiently managing client implementations.
    • Assist clients with day-to-day post-implementation functions
    • Contribute to evolving the daily data validations and client report delivery processes
    • Communicating with clients in a proactive, consultative & professional manner
    • Processing and responding to client requests
Required Skills/Experience:
  • Writing and manipulating SQL scripts
  • Procedures and SQL scripts, profiling, debugging
  • Experience in supporting .Net and web-based applications
